When Lucie and I looked up the Eclipse for this week, we saw some amazing pictures of eclipses…and this one, the “head in a box,” which is quite amusing, considering the energies at play this time around.
As we chuckled and discussed the relevance, we came to some interesting conclusions about this week’s Sun/Moon shadow dance. If the box represents the Old Paradigm, then it makes sense that right now, nothing will “fit” in the old box. The box was maybe a place to stash unwanted pieces of self or lingering beliefs about Spirit and others - but the Universe just dumped out the contents for you to see in the light of the New Paradigm. The box is no more. Anything or anyone you try to put in the old box will not “fit.” Perhaps the ONLY use for the box anymore is that pictured in the diagram!
Also, trying to “hide” in the box isn’t going to work either. You know how cats think if their head is in the box, you can’t see the rest of them? Yeah, that’s about how funny YOU look to the Universe trying to do the same thing spiritually. It’s amazingly ironic that this powerful eclipse is falling at 0-degrees Scorpio. Zero degrees really *does* mean we are starting at the beginning! A chance to wipe the proverbial slate and set out in a new intention/direction.
A little known fact about scorpions, they don’t like being ‘boxed in’ either… A scorpion will sting itself to death rather than give you the satisfaction of capturing or killing it. (I have seen this first-hand, it’s pretty creepy.) However, the lesson is fitting right now too… How to we sabotage? At what point do we cling to our old beliefs about ourselves and this world to the point of ‘poisoning’ ourselves? How much do we struggle to keep ourselves in the box of limitation, to our own detriment?
